How long to reach my goal weight?
Enter your weight now and your goal. See roughly how many weeks it takes at a safe pace.
How this is worked out
For adults, a change of about 0.25 to 0.5 kg a week is treated as a slow, safe pace. Each kilo needs roughly 7,700 kcal of deficit or surplus. This is an average, real results differ from body to body.
Weight moves up and down daily, so look at the weekly average. Plateaus of a few weeks are normal.
This is a general estimate for healthy adults over 18, not medical advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or take medication, talk to a doctor before changing your weight.
